This pigeon didn&#8217;t seem quite right from the start and began its flight in the completely wrong direction, then happily lingered at a restaurant, after which it continued its journey over the mountain and back at 10:45, then over the mountain and around it again, and at about 17:45 I thought I&#8217;d call it a day, I&#8217;m going to sleep, so it didn&#8217;t get any further on day 1 than about 100 km in 9 hours of flight time; from there the GPS was off.
